Dom Paris, Cangelosi Lead Mount Greylock Baseball into Sectional Quarter-Finals

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Dom Paris doubled twice and drove in three runs, and Jack Cangelosi struck out seven Friday to lead the Mount Greylock baseball team to an 8-0 win over Palmer in the first round of the Western Massachusetts Division 3 tournament.
 
Paris went 2-for-4 and scored a run, and Tyler Canata was 2-for-3 and scored twice in an eight-hit Mount Greylock attack.
 
Paul Roeder doubled and drove in a pair of runs.
 
On the mound, Cangelosi scattered eight hits and stranded 11 runners in a complete-game effort.
 
Eighth-seeded Mount Greylock (11-9) goes to No. 1 Taconic (17-3) on Monday afternoon in the quarter-finals.
