Monument Baseball Edges Drury

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Dominic DeFelice tripled and scored two runs to lead the Monument Mountain baseball team to a 4-3 win over Drury on Thursday.

Nate Cormier led off a four-run Monument first inning with a single, and Joe Aberdale went 3-for-3 for the Spartans (4-5), who travel to Palmer on Monday.

Matthew Stewart went 1-for-2 with a run scored, and Chad Lawrence and Kody Crosier each drove in a run for Drury (6-3).

Ryan Dubie went the distance on the mound for the Blue Devils, allowing three earned runs.

Drury hosts Granby on Friday at Joe Wolfe Field.
