Wojtkowski Powers Mount Greylock Baseball Past Lenox

LENOX, Mass. -- Cole Wojtkowski went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, and the Mount Greylock baseball team Monday exploded for nine runs in the top of the sixth to put away a 17-5 win over Lenox.
 
Wojtkowski scored three times and drove in a pair of runs. Cal Messina had just one hit, but it was a double, and he drove in three runs, walked twice and stole three bases.
 
Dom Paris went 2-for-2 with an RBI, and Phil Guest had a pair of hits and four RBIs.
 
Eli Ostheimer earned the win on the mound with five innings of two-run relief. He struck out nine, walked two and allowed just two hits.
 
Nick Nicotra went 1-for-3 at the plate and scored twice for Lenox (4-7), which hosts Hoosac Valley on Wednesday.
 
Mount Greylock (7-2) is at Taconic on Tuesday.
