NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- McCann Tech freshman Dalton Tatro threw a no-hitter on Tuesday to lead the Hornets to a 7-0 win over Pioneer Valley Christian School.

 

Tatro struck out five and walked one in the victory.

 

“Dalton is well known to hit the strike zone when he is on the bump,” McCann Tech coach Pat Ryan said. “I have a a lot of confidence with him and he could definitely be an optional asset in the tournament.”

 

Michael Ferrara and Caleb Rondeau each went 3-for-4 with an RBI.

 

Connor Guyette and Ferrara each doubled.

 

McCann Tech (14-4) hosts Wahconah on Wednesday evening at Joe Wolfe Field.
