Chicopee Boys Top McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Dan Vazquez scored four goals and set up three more Thursday to lead the Chicopee boys lacrosse team to a 17-2 win over McCann Tech.

 

"Right now, we're just a team that's a little decimated by injuries and school vacation," McCann Tech coach Paul Lange said. "I think that was a big factor, but Chicopee (6-1) is also a good team with good skills, and they're deep. They were able to dictate the play."

 

Jason DeLisle scored both Hornets goals off assists from Zavier Martin-Levesque and Dakota Bolte.

 

Josh Pettit and Taden Bolte combined to make 15 saves in the McCann Tech goal.

 

The Hornets (2-4) host Chicopee Comp on Monday.
