Hoosac Valley's Waterman Hits Milestone in Win over Pittsfield

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Nick Waterman scored three goals and set up three more Wednesday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys lacrosse team to a 17-7 win over Pittsfield.
 
Waterman registered his 100th career point in the victory and ran his season scoring totals to 37 goals and 16 assists.
 
Matt Hall and Bailey Trumble each had a hat trick, and Vance Eugene scored two goals with two assists for the Hurricanes, who got 12 saves from Cam Alibozek.
 
Kevin Quinto led Pittsfield with four goals and an assist. Eathan Beach stopped 16 shots in the Generals’ goal.
 
Pittsfield (5-11) hosts Taconic on Friday at Egremont Elementary.
 
Hoosac Valley (9-4) hosts McCann Tech on Friday.
