DALTON, Mass. -- Dart Jaggi scored four goals, and Wyatt Schleicher had a hat trick trick plus two assists to lead the Wahconah boys lacrosse team to a 15-1 win over Pittsfield on Tuesday.

“Great team win today,” Wahconah coach Zack Sondrini said. “We did an excellent job sharing the ball with 10 assisted goals. Our faceoff guys, Dayton Kozlowski and Kyle Gazzillo, did a great job controlling the ball and won almost all the faceoffs. My defense did a great job minimizing their leading point scorers.

“PHS fought hard and had a lot of young guys stepping up big. They graduated a huge class last year and were also missing a few key players today. I expect the next one will be a battle as it is every year."

Pittsfield’s Markie Perras scored with an assist from Jesse Kramer.

Vinnie Orlandi and Joe Whitaker combined for six saves in the win for Wahconah (4-3), which hosts Lee on Thursday.

Pittsfield (2-5) hosts Hoosac Valley on Thursday.
