Waynick Leads Mount Greylock Boys Lacrosse Past Pittsfield

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Mac Waynick scored six goals and set up three more Tuesday to lead the Mount Greylock boys lacrosse team to a 16-2 win over Pittsfield.
 
Sean Malloy scored four goals, and Michael Wellspeak had a hat trick and set up four more goals for the Mounties, who got 13 saves from David Falk.
 
Jacob Brazeau scored Pittsfield’s goals on assists from Trey Salvie and Zach Brazeau.
 
Hayden Plouffe stopped 13 shots in goal for the Generals (4-6), who host Taconic on Tuesday.
 
Mount Greylock (5-3) takes a three-game winning streak into Thursday’s game at Westfield.
