This was a big win for us.  We are coming off a 7 game losing streak and this was a league game that we need to keep our season alive.  Our boys have been playing well as of late but have been unable to find the net.  Our first goal was scored by Jake Daugherty from a slotted ball from Thane Preite.  Jake has been playing better and better as the season has gone along.  His work ethic is amazing.  He deserves this goal beacuse of the hard work he has put in as of late.  With a 1-0 lead we gave up a corner kick.  We are a very organized team defensively when it comes to corners.  One of our players tripped, feel and lost his mark and unfortunately he was the target for the ball being crossed in.  It was a beautiful header into the opposite panel.  Less than a minute later we were pressuring in their box and one of our players was taken down in the box.  Jonah Miles places a beautiful PK kick which was just out of reach of the GK.  The second half we held them off.  We had many scoring opportunities but just couldn't put the game out of reach.  Which made for an action packed last 5 minutes of the game.  We gave up a corner with less than a minute left and Lee put all 11 players into the box to try to score.  Our defense held up and we cleared the ball for the final whistle.
