Budaj Leads Wahconah Girls Past Holyoke Catholic

HOLYOKE, Mass. -- Jordan Budaj scored five goals and assisted on another to lead the Wahconah girls lacrosse team to a 16-6 win over Holyoke Catholic on Saturday.

 

"The girls were patient on offense and converted their shots," Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. "Overall, it was a nice job from everyone."

 

Perin Genaway and Emmy Cote had three goals apiece for Wahconah (1-1), which also got goals from Hannah Rueger, Becky Steele and Hannah Ronayne.

 

Katie Bachli and Luz Culpepper combined to stop seven shots in the win.

 

Wahconah hosts Lee on Tuesday.
