DALTON, Mass. -- The Mount Anthony girls lacrosse team took advantage of Wahconah turnovers to earn an 11-5 road win and snap Wahconah’s three-game winning streak on Saturday.

Bri Kasala had a hat trick, and Jillian Cote scored twice and set up one of Kasala’s goals, but it was not enough.

“Today we did not execute our transition at all,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “We would play solid defense and cause a turnover and then turn it over on the transition. It is hard to win games when you don't possess the ball.”

Sydney Smith stopped nine shots in the loss.

Wahconah (7-5) goes to Lee on Monday.
