West Side Girls Lacrosse Pulls Away from Mount Greylock Late

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Jacqueline Koziol scored four goals, and the West Springfield girls lacrosse team outscored Mount Greylock, 8-3, in the second half to earn a 15-9 win on Tuesday.
 
Clare Sheedy scored four times, and Sarah Polumbo and Carolyn Jones each scored a pair.
 
“We kept the game close first half but we were unable to keep up with the West Springfield transition and win draw controls in the second half,” Mount Greylock coach Lindsey von Holtz said.
 
Jayden Johnson made nine saves in goal for the Mounties (7-4), who go to BCC to play Pittsfield on Thursday.
