Mount Greylock Girls Lacrosse Wins Big on Road in Quarter-Finals

BOYLSTON, Mass. -- Carolyn Jones scored eight goals, and Sarah Polumbo scored seven to lead the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team to a 20-7 win over Tahonto in the Central/Western Massachusetts Division 2 quarter-finals on Monday.
 
Ainsley Abel and Tess Leveque each scored a pair of goals, and Zoey Armet scored once in the victory.
 
Christy Rech made 11 saves to earn the win in goal.
 
Sixth-seeded Mount Greylock (8-2) is home on Wednesday evening in the sectional semi-finals against No. 7 Granby (10-5).
