Lee Softball Team Beats Putnam, Commerce

LEE, Mass. -- The Lee softball team went 2-0 in its back-to-back games with Putnam and Commerce.

 

In its 15-2 victory over Putnam, Lee pitcher Kendra Williams threw eight strikeouts and went 2-for-3 from the plate.

 

In the 19-0 win over Commerce, freshman Shannon Finnegan was 4-for-4 at the plate and had two RBIs. 

 

Williams pitched another five innings for Lee against Commerce, striking out eight again.

 

Lee will travel to Mount Greylock Monday afternoon for a 4:15 p.m. start.
