Angell Throws Shutout for Mount Everett Softball

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Faith Angell struck out six and scattered four hits Monday to pitch the Mount Everett softball team to a 7-0 win over Drury.
 
Gwendolyn Carpenter went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs, and Hannah Race came off the bench to go 1-for-2 with an RBI for the Eagles, who took advantage of four Drury errors.
 
Tess Zoito allowed just one earned run in taking the loss in the circle for Drury, which got a pair of hits from Caitlin Tatro.
 
The Blue Devils (3-10) host Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
 
Mount Everett (7-6) goes to Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.
