Quinones Leads McCann Tech Softball Past Hopkins

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Ayrian Quinones went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI Monday to lead the McCann Tech softball team to a 12-6 win over Hopkins Academy.

 

The Hornets rallied for five runs in the bottom of the sixth to put the game away, thanks in part to Quinones’ double and singles from Kalley Vanuni and Aubrey Tetlow.

 

Vanuni went 3-for-5, and Aimee Dowling was 3-for-4 with an RBI.

 

In the circle, Goyette struck out four, walked one and allowed nine hits to earn the complete game win.

 

McCann Tech (13-3, 6-0 Bi-County West) hosts Putnam on Tuesday.
