Mount Everett Softball Defeats Housatonic Valley

CANAAN, Conn. -- Faith Angell doubled at the plate and pitched four innings of one-run relief in the circle Monday as the Mount Everett softball team earned an 18-1 win over Housatonic Valley Regional in a game shortened to six innings.
 
Chandler DeGrenier started and earned the win, striking out six in two innings in the circle.
 
Kersten Cutlip, Devan Galli and Hannah Steurernagle each scored three runs for the Eagles (12-1), who go to Wahconah on Tuesday evening.
