Devoti Homers Twice as Mount Everett Tops Drury

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Marion Devoti hit two home runs, and Faith Angell struck out six to lead the Mount Everett softball team to an 11-1 win over Drury on Sunday.
 
Madison Ullrich also homered for the Eagles.
 
“Contributions all around today, some key hits and girls played great for an early Sunday tilt,” Mount Everett coach Joshua King said.
 
Caroline Cellana, Anna Dix, Olivia Mazzacco and Jayden Tower each had a hit for Drury, which got a combined effort in the circle from Danielle Harnick and Abby Lear.
 
Drury (4-10) hosts Taconic on Tuesday.
 
Mount Everett (8-4) starts a busy week on Tuesday when it hosts Lenox.
