Drury Softball Wins Second Straight

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Maya Howland pitched a one-hitter Tuesday as the Drury softball team won its second straight, a 12-0 victory over Monument Mountain.

 

Howland struck out five and walked two in a game shortened to five innings.

 

Caitlin Tatro went 3-for-3 and scored twice, and Abby Lear drove in a pair of runs for the Blue Devils. Jacqueline Moulton went 2-for-3 with an RBI in a 10-hit Drury attack.

 

Alexa Troiano struck out a pair in the circle for Monument Mountain (2-6).

 

Drury (3-8) goes to Lee on Thursday.
