NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Katie Booth came on in relief to throw three shutdown innings in the circle and hit a game-winning two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth as the Drury softball team Tuesday defeated Mohawk Trail, 10-8.

 

Booth came on in the fifth with Drury trailing, 8-7. She proceeded to strike out four and allow no walks in three scoreless innings.

 

Anna Dix also hit a two-run homer for the Blue Devils, part of a 2-for-3 day at the plate for her.

 

Abby Lear went 2-for-4 win the win.

 

Drury (3-3) is home again on Wednesday against Mount Anthony Union.
