SOUTHWICK, Mass. -- Meg Goyette struck out eight in the circle and helped her cause by going 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs as the McCann Tech softball team defeated Southwick, 7-4, on Monday.

 

The game was shortened to five innings due to weather.

 

Ayrian Quinones went 1-for-3 with an RBI, and Kalley Vanuni drove in a run.

 

Aubrey Tetlow went 1-for-2 in the win.

 

McCann Tech (9-1) goes to Pope Francis on Tuesday.
