TURNERS FALLS, Mass. -- Devin Slattery scored 22 points Thursday to lead the Ware boys basketball team to a 70-31 win over Mount Everett in the Franklin Tech Tournament.

 

Chris Dilone added 16 for Ware, which jumped out to a 27-1 lead after one quarter.

 

Mount Everett rallied in the second, but still went into half-time down 29.

 

Cavan Brady led the Eagles (0-1) with 12 points. Blaise Twing and Jack Carpenter added five and four, respectively.

 

Mount Everett will play in Friday’s consolation game against the winner of Thursday’s late game between Mohawk and Franklin Tech.
