Drury's Foul Shooting Keys Win at Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Drury’s Scott McGuire and Reece Racette combined to go 11-for-12 from the foul line in the fourth quarter to secure a 66-57 win over Taconic on Thursday night.
 
The Blue Devils built a 43-42 lead through three quarters but outscored the hosts by eight over the final eight minutes to improve to 3-1 this winter.
 
Racette scored a team-high 15 points and got all six of his fourth-quarter points on 8-for-8 foul shooting. McGuire scored 12, including five from the charity stripe down the stretch.
 
Drury got 11 points from Max Daugherty and nine apiece from Chad Lawrence and Hunter Sarkis.
 
Taconic’s Isaac Percy scored a game-high 16 points, and Jayden Cross contributed 10.
 
Taconic (1-4) travels to New York and the Maple Hill Holiday Hoopfest next Thursday, taking on Ichabod Crane in the opener.
 

Drury hosts Turners Falls next Thursday.
