Coughlan Leads Hoosac in Comeback Win

CHESHIRE, Mass. — Jameson Coughlan scored 22 points Monday to lead the Hoosac Valley High School boys basketball team to a 73-57 win over Lenox.
 
Four Hurricanes finished in double figures on the night with Matt Braman scoring 18, Matt Koperniak 15 and Sean Ryan-Kut 12.
 
Hoosac (14-4) trailed, 34-30, at half-time but used two Koperniak 3-pointers to key a 20-14 third-quarter comeback that allowed the hosts to take a 50-48 lead. In the fourth, Braman scored eight to help Hoosac put the game away.
 
Evan Lanoue scored 16 points, and Bailey Pattella added 12 for Lenox (13-5).
 
Hoosac Valley hosts Taconic and Lenox hosts Mount Greylock on Thursday.
