Pioneer Boys Top Hoosac Valley in OT

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Pioneer Valley hit 10 of 14 free throws in overtime Friday to take a 78-71 win over Hoosac Valley.
 
The Hurricanes (9-8) were up by 13 at half-time before PIoneer was able to climb back into it. The Panthers outscored Hoosac Valley, 15-8, in overtime to hand the ‘Canes their fifth loss in six games.
 
Karl Wheeler scored 19 points, and Mike Menard added 17 for the visitors.
 
Hoosac’s Izaha Stubbs scored a game-high 29, and Nick Waterman and Vance Eugene added 15 and 13, respectively.
 
The Hurricanes host Drury on Tuesday.
