Wahconah Unified Team Wins Pair

DALTON, Mass. -- Jess Jones scored the winning basket Thursday to give the Wahconah Unified Basketball team a 28-26 win over Mount Greylock and a pair of wins in a three-team mini-round robin.
 
Wahconah, Mount Greylock and Northampton played a series of 30-minute games at Wahconah's gym.
 
The hosts beat Northampton, 39-35, and Northampton edged Mount Greylock, 33-29, in th eother game.
 
Against Northampton, Tony Marra scored 15 points to lead Wahconah, which got eight from Topher Golumbeski, who scored his first career basket in teh win.
 
Brock Prett made a big bucket late to give Wahconah a four-point lead against the Blue Devils.
 
In the Northampton-Mount Greylock game, Aidan Barnes made some big shots for the Mounties through a nip-and-tuck contest.
 
In the fourth meeting of the year between Mount Greylock and Wahconah, Henlen Jamrog scored eight, and Marra had 10.
 
Jillian Medard assisted on Jones' winning basket.
