Pittsfield Boys Drop Game in Central Mass Challenge

WORCESTER, Mass. -- St. John Shrewsbury held the Pittsfield boys basketball team to five first-quarter points en route to a 61-33 win over the Generals on Friday night at the Central Mass Challenge.
 
Sincere Moorer and Carter Matthews scored seven and six, respectively, for the Generals (1-2).
 
Pittsfield hung around most of the game, but a 26-4 fourth quarter proved its undoing.
 
The Generals play Doherty on Saturday morning.
