PITTSFIELD -- Reigning Pittsfield Cooperative Bank Athlete of the Week Amancho Adopo scored 29 points to lead the Pittsfield High School boys basketball team to a 70-55 win over Drury on Wednesday night.

The victory gave the Generals (13-7 overall, 9-4 North Division) a share of the North Division title with city rival Taconic.

Drury senior Nolan Bird scored 16 points and added 13 rebounds in a losing cause as the Blue Devils' late season surge ended one game short of a Western Massachusetts tournament bid.

Drury (8-10), which started the season 1-5, had won three of four going into Wednesday's finale.
