Turners Falls Girls Top Lee

MONTAGUE, Mass. --  Turners Falls senior Maddy Chmyzinski scored 15 points, including the 1,000th of her career, in leading her team to a 52-33 win over Lee on Thursday night.

 

Shannon Finnegan scored a game-high 19 points, including four 3-pointers, but the Wildcats (1-1) could not overcome a 17-4 third quarter that allowed the hosts to open a 15-point lead.

 

Lydia Simone scored seven, and Brianna Hawley added six for the Wildcats.

 

Lee hosts Hampshire on Saturday afternoon.
