Drury Girls Come Back on Road, Qualify for Western Mass

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Jenna Moulton scored six points in a pivotal third quarter to help the Drury High girls basketball team Friday qualify for the Western Mass tournament wih a 39-33 win over Monument Mountain.
 
Olivia Carlson scored a team-high nine points for the Blue Devils (10-4), who won their sixth straight to reach the 10-win plateau.
 
It was 20-13, Spartans at half-time, but behind Moulton's six points, the Blue Devils outscored the home team 14-7 in the third to tie the game.
 
In the fourth quarter, Carlson went 3-for-3 at the line and scored five points to help Drury pull away.
 
Anika Helmke scored a game-high 11 for Monument Mountain (5-8), which travels to Lee on Monday.
 
Drury hosts Monument for a return visit on Thursday.
