Mohawk Trail Girls Use Advantage on Glass to Top McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Grace Paplawski scored 16 points Tuesday to lead the Mohawk Trail girls basketball team to a 45-38 win over McCann Tech.

 

Natalie Diesz scored 11, and Emmie Cellana added 10 to lead the Hornets (3-3).

 

“We played hard tonight, but we are struggling to rebound and giving up way too many rebounds that led to easy putbacks for Mohawk,” McCann Tech coach Kathy Budaj said. “We need to clean up the game more. We are doing a lot of right things and hopefully our hard work will pay off.”

 

The Hornets go to Smith Academy on Thursday.
