Bramer, Taconic Girls Roll into Semi-Finals

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Taea Bramer scored 16 points and passed out four assists Thursday to lead the Taconic girls basketball team to a 49-27 win over Quabbin in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Division 2 tournament.
 
Bramer also pulled down six rebounds as third-seeded Taconic improved to 19-2.
 
Tamia Patrick had a team-high 14 rebounds.
 
Ciany Conyers scored 12 points and grabbed seven boards, and Kendra Buda scored 11 in the win.
 
Taconic moves into next week’s semi-finals against the winner of Friday’s game between No. 7 Amherst (15-5) and No. 2 Longmeadow (13-7).
