BUCKLAND, Mass. -- Alice Najimy scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds in her first game back from ACL surgery a year ago to lead the Lenox girls basketball team to a season-opening, 62-33 win over Mohawk Trail on Monday night.

Kristin Parkinson and Jade Alward each scored 11, and Amelia Reis came off the bench to score eight points and grab seven boards.

Parkinson and Alward each hit three 3-pointers, and the Millionaires (1-0) had 10 3s as a team -- six in the first four minutes of the second half, as Lenox turned a 29-10 lead into a 55-15 margin through three quarters.
