CHESHIRE, Mass. -- One game after getting over the 1,000-plateau, Hoosac Valley senior Lexi Mercier exploded for 31 points, including seven 3-pointers, to lead the Hurricanes to an 84-44 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Hoosac Valley had 49 points at half-time en route to their biggest offensive night of the season.

 

Kayley Winn scored 14, and Alie Mendel added 11 in the win.

 

Destiny Brown led the Spartans with 21 points.

 

Monument Mountain (5-13) is at Taconic on Thursday.

 

Hoosac Valley (13-3) goes to Pittsfield on Wednesday.
