DALTON, Mass. -- Noelle Furlong scored 16 points to lead three Wahconah players in double figures as the the tournament’s No. 3 seed earned a 47-24 win over Granby on Friday night.

 

Wahconah (19-2) advanced to set up a date with Berkshire County rival Hoosac Valley in the semi-finals; the Hurricanes knocked off Sabis, 80-43, in their quarter-final.

 

Maria Gamberoni and Morgan Marauszwski scored 11 points apiece for Wahconah, which led, 29-12, at half-time and never looked back.

 

Wahconah and Hoosac Valley met twice in the regular season with each team winning at home.

 

The rubber match in the Cage will be Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
