NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Maddy Chmyzinski scored 12 points — 10 at the foul line — to lead the Turners Falls girls

basketball team to a 38-35 win over McCann Tech on Monday night.

Turners took 11 more foul shots than the Hornets, earning 31 trips to the line and making 16.

Allie Gibeau scored a game-high 16 points, and Kelly Dobbert added eight as McCann slipped to 1-5.

The Hornets will look to get back in the win column on Friday when they host Hampden Charter.
