FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Michael McCormack scored three goals and had an assist, but the Mount Greylock boys lacrosse team ran into a tough interstate test on Saturday as it fell to Fairfield Ludlowe, 16-4. 

Matt Malloy scored the other Greylock goal as the Mounties fell to 2-1 on the season. 

Cal Filson went the distance in goal for Mount Greylock, stopping 10 shots. 

Blake Davis had four goals and an assist to lead Fairfield Ludlowe.

Mount Greylock hosts Monument Mountain on Tuesday afternoon.
