.jpg) DALTON, Mass. -- Jordan Budaj and Hannah Powell each scored three goals to lead the Wahconah girls lacrosse team to a 15-4 win over Hoosac Valley on Monday afternoon.
Morgan Francese had two goals and two assists for Wahconah, which had 10 players with at least one point as it improved to 2-0-1.
"We started off strong and were looking for the open pass," Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. "It was a nice team effort overall."
Katie Bachlie and Liz Culpepper split time in the Wahconah goal and recorded one save apiece.
Holly Cadreh scored twice, and Michaela LaPlante and Audrey Johnson each had a goal for the Hurricanes.
Kelsey Holsey made 14 saves for Hoosac Valley.
