I would like to invite you to an event this Friday, August 13, at 6 p.m. at NARH, when we will announce the naming of the hospital's Emergency Department in honor of Dr. E. Wayne Wilkins, Jr. The event will be held in front of Clark House. Dr. Wilkins has been a resident of Williamstown since his retirement about 20 years ago. He graduated from Williams College and went on to a very successful career in medicine, serving as chief of Emergency Services at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was a key player in the creation of the New England Life Flight helicopter service and now serves the local health care system in several ways. Dr. Wilkins is honored by Jim and Joan Hunter of Williamstown, who challenged the community to contribute $2 million to the hospital's CARE Campaign, which the Hunters will match with $1 million. Please call with any questions. We look forward to seeing you on Friday.
