The Board of Directors of Berkshire Family And Individual Resources invites you to participate in the agency’s second annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser to benefit adults and children with disabilities.

This year’s tournament will also offer a clinic for beginning, intermediate and advanced players with golf pros Kay McMahon of eduKaytion Golf and David Bond. The event takes place on May 23 at Waubeeka Golf Links in Williamstown.

Lunch is from 11:00-12:30; Shotgun start at 12:30; Dinner and Awards at 5:30. Basic cost is $100 per player. Event sponsorships are available Dinner: $1500; Lunch: $1000; Golf Cart: 500; Tee/Green $250 and $100. Banners of sponsors will be displayed at the event.

BFAIR is a not-for-profit human service agency providing an array of intensive supports for adults and children with developmental disabilities, autism and traumatic brain injury. Your participation in this tournament will support the following important programs:

Arcadia Employment Services—employment, training, and placement

Day Habilitation—a center providing community integration, recreational activities, on-site nursing care, and physical, occupational, and speech therapies

Community Residential Services—flexible individualized living assistance

Clinical Services—individual assessment, treatment, and case reviews for children and adults including in school consultations and therapy

Individual and Family Support Services—Outreach, social clubs activities, and family support for children and adults

SteepleCats Shut Out on Road

MONTPELIER, Vt. -- Four Vermont pitchers combined to strike out 11 and allow four hits Tuesday as the Mountaineers beat the North Adams SteepleCats, 11-0, in New England Collegiate Baseball League action.
 
Evan Meier, Bobby Stang, Tonny Woodie and Chris Diaz each had a hit for the SteepleCats, who used five pitchers in the loss.
 
North Adams (0-2) comes home Tuesday to host the Mystic Schooners at 6:30 p.m. at Joe Wolfe Field.
