North Adams, Mass - Mill City Productions is pleased to announce performance dates for a stage adaptation by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar of the classic story, “The Little Prince”, originally written by Antoine de Saint-Exupery.

‘The Little Prince” is directed by Liz Urban and features local residents Sam Cabot as the Little Prince and Edward Cating as the Aviator, as well as 12 local actors rounding out the cast. Performances will take place on Friday, November 14th and Saturday, November 15th and 22nd at 7pm, with matinees at 2pm on Sunday, November 16th, Saturday, November 22nd and Sunday, November 23rd.

“The Little Prince” tells the story of a world-weary and disenchanted Aviator whose sputtering plane strands him in the Sahara Desert and a mysterious, regal 'little man' who appears to him. During their two weeks together in the desert, the Little Prince tells the Aviator about his adventures through the galaxy, and about his strained relationship with a very special flower on his own tiny planet. The Little Prince meets many different characters and from each he gains a unique insight about the world.

Performances will take place at Mill City’s theatre at Building 4 (next to the Visitor’s Center) in the Western Gateway Heritage State Park in North Adams. Please park in either the Northwest lot (near NBCTC) or in the Son’s of Italy lot. Admission is $9 for adults and $7 for children/students/seniors. Tickets reservations can be made by visiting www.millcityproductions.org or by calling 413-664-0161.
