WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Williams College Athletic Department is hosting its annual Girls and Women in Sports Day on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Towne Field House.

 

There is no charge for participating in the day's events and each participant will receive a free T-shirt, snack, and drinks.

 

Williams female athletes and coaches will be on hand to teach the girls in grades K-6 about various sports. This year the featured sports will be softball, track and field, volleyball and field hockey.

 

The Girls and Women in Sports Day will end at the women's basketball game between Williams College and Colby College, where the girls will be announced on the court before the game and get to meet the teams.
