In a 7-2 vote, the City Council rescinded a Jan. 24 vote on Councilor at Large Karen Kalinowsky's petition to place a question on the Nov. 7 ballot that asks voters if North Street should return to a four-lane way.
It is unclear what is happening with Councilor at Large Karen Kalinowsky’s petition to put a question on the Nov. 7 ballot that, if approved, returns North Street to four lanes of traffic and remove the bike lanes.
Commissioner of Public Services and Utilities Ricardo Morales presented a road report for the corridor which showed a 77 percent crash decrease after the lanes were implemented.
