North County Turns Out in Droves for Annual PopCares Fundraiser

PHS Student Starts Charity For Children Fighting Cancer

About two years ago Madison Quinn was browsing through Instagram when she found photos of Abel. Abel was a young boy in California fighting cancer. The photos she saw touched her and she reached out to his mother asking what he likes because she wanted to send him a get well present. It was Batman. North Adams Welcomes New Police Officers, Firefighter Lieutenant

Three new officers were sworn in as permanent members of the police force and a firefighter was promoted at Tuesday's City Council meeting. Mayor Richard Alcombright has made it a practice to bring the city's public safety personnel into council chambers to be sworn in so that the community can see them on the local access channel, Northern Berkshire Community Television.
