Biotech Company Head Muraca Facing Fraud Charges

Nuclea Biotechnologies' former CEO Patrick Muraca is accused of misusing investor funds for his new start up company. On Monday the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filed a complaint in federal court accusing Muraca of using funds from investors for NanoMolecularDX, a new company Muraca started in Lee, to fund personal expenses, including funding his fiancee's restaurant business.

'Farm to Hand' Food Truck Wins MCLA's First Entrepreneur Challenge

Twenty-seven teams of two to five students entered the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge last fall, the first-ever competition held by Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and funded by the Feigenbaum Fund and Jack and Susy Wadsworth. After months of research, planning, and guidance by mentors, four finalist teams stood to present their business plans.
