LPN training program invites applications - September 20, 2007
Aspiring nurses are invited to apply for the post-secondary licensed practical nurse (LPN) program offered by McCann Technical School in North Adams. An eligibility exam will take place on Wednesday, October 10, at 8 a.m. or 5 p.m. at McCann Technical School. Potential candidates must have submitted an application and $25 exam fee to register for the exam. Contact McCann at 413-663-5383, ext. 181.
The next LPN training program starts January 22, 2008 and ends December 2008. Tuition assistance is available through Northern Berkshire Healthcare; in some cases the full cost of the program may be reimbursed with a two-year work commitment following graduation.
The course meets on the campus of North Adams Regional Hospital and other clinical sites on weekdays from 4 to 10 p.m., with some clinical daytime hours. Openings are available for the upcoming class; admission is contingent upon passing the eligibility exam, education and work experience, references, and a successful interview.
