Visitors Bureau Seeking Award Nominations

- September 21, 2007

ADAMS - Each year the Berkshire Visitors Bureau recognizes and honors individuals or organizations who have done an outstanding job and made a difference in the Berkshire tourism community. The agency invites residents to submit a nomination of such an individual or organization to be honored in one of the following categories:

* Extraordinary Vision and Leadership

* Outstanding Renovation, Restoration or Beautification

* Unique Innovation or collaboration

* Enthusiastic Ambassador to Visitors and Customer Service

* Consistent Service Behind the Scenes

Members will be honored during the bureau's 69th annual Meeting and Membership Celebration on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Castle Street Cafe and the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center.

Deadline to submit nominations is Oct. 5.
