Breakfast Business Forums Begin in October

- September 25, 2007

PITTSFIELD - Berkshire Enterprises will resume its monthly business breakfast forum. This is the seventh consecutive year that the program has been offered. It offers small-business owners and others a chance to get together and share ideas about what works in their businesses and where they need help.

The forums are free and include a light breakfast. They are made possible by continuing support from Berkshire Bank, Legacy Banks, Greylock Federal Credit Union, TD Banknorth and Pittsfield Cooperative Bank.

The first breakfast will be held Friday, Oct. 5, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. The October breakfast will feature a discussion of "Some months the sun doesn’t shine: How to survive and grow through hard times." Steve Fogel, program director of Berkshire Enterprises, will lead the discussion. Topics will include how to survive the loss of a key customer, how to change with a changing market, and how to cope with the unexpected bad news.

The program is designed for owners and managers of small businesses to use their expertise to help each other. It is designed to be fun and help provide real solutions to real problems.

The forum will be held at One Fenn St. in the third-floor board room. The space is being provided by CompuWorks. Space is limited and reservations are required. For reservations or for more information about our monthly business forums, contact Fogel at 413-236-2141, or visit www.berkshireenterprises.com
