- October 01, 2007

LENOX - Fatime Yaldiz, director of operations for the Ritz-Carlton in Boston, will present "Delighting Customers through Quality" at a dinner at Cranwell Resort, Spa and Golf Club on Nov. 1, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Berkshire Section of the American Society for Quality in collaboration with the Berkshire Visitors Bureau.

Yaldiz will discuss the Ritz-Carlton’s best practices, including Gold standards, employee continuum, guest loyalty and quality tools programs that have set the company apart as a leader in quality and service across industries. The information can be useful in all organizations and for all levels of leadership.

Yaldiz has been with Ritz-Carlton since 1998, and has worked in hotels in Istanbul, Turkey, in Naples and Palm Beach, Fla., and in Cleveland. She holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Florida International University.

ASQ is the world's leading membership organization devoted to quality, with more than 100,000 individual and organizational members. The nonprofit association works to advance learning, quality improvement and knowledge exchange to improve business results and create better workplaces and communities worldwide.

Space is limited for the event, which is open to the public. The cost is $30, which includes dinner. Reservations, which close Oct. 25, are available by calling Debbie Mossman at the Berkshire Visitors Bureau at 413-743-4500, Ext. 200.
