Ever think you'd see that price again? This was taken in Stamford but there are reports some North Adams' gas stations are that low as well.

Kids Rock Group to Perform

- October 14, 2007

SHELBURNE FALLS - Gwendolyn and the Good Time Gang will perform at the Children's Art Museum, in the trolley building, on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 2.

Tickets are $6 per person, and infants are free.

In their hometown of Los Angeles, a recent performance by the group was described as the second coming of Beatlemania. Developing a following on the East Coast, this West Coast band will be touring through New England with a stop at the museum, organized by Hilltown Families (www.HilltownFamilies.org).

Both children and pop-art aficionados may enjoy this seven-piece band whose lead singer, Gwendolyn Sanford, dresses like a rag-doll with knee socks and exaggerated blonde pigtails. Their music has aired locally on both the "Hilltown Family Variety Show" and "Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child" radio shows on WXOJ-LP 103.3FM in Northampton. Their music video "Farm Animal Friends" has been played nationally on Noggin.

Gwendolyn and the Good Time Gang did a GREAT live show this weekend. Kids just LOVED them! We're hopeful they'll return again to Western Mass soon. The lead singer did a guest DJ set on the Hilltown Family Variety Show which will air this Tuesday at 7pm. You can catch the show live on 103.3FM WXOJ out of Noho, or you can listen to the podcast on www.hilltownfamilies.org.
